The challenge for this project was to create an updated image for the TELUS Studios end tag in a way that would both feel part of the video and give the audience a sense that the production was made by the people working at the studio as an independent side of TELUS.
Before this animation was created, every video used the same animation to reveal the TELUS logo and the year's copyright.
We tried several ways to animate the TELUS Logo and incorporate the TELUS Studios tag.
This way, the video would have the TELUS logo at the end, stating that it is a TELUS video, and the TELUS Studio tag to designate that it was produced at the TELUS Studio facilities.
The final product was an elegant transition from the TELUS Logo, to the TELUS Studios Logo in two different colour schemes so it could be applied to different content styles while maintaining the brand recognition of both TELUS and TELUS Studios.
Some iterations tried to incorporate the TELUS Critters, which in the end was not the right choice as not all the Critters are always used.
The final product was an elegant transition from the TELUS Logo, to the TELUS Studios Logo.
